Grandmother Wisdom and Eagle Eyes are two main characters that Susan interacts with. They both guide her into many experiences of shape shifting, letting go and trusting her intuitive abilities.

These experiences take place in wilderness areas of where Susan worked for decades as a Wilderness Ranger. Being alone in the wild she did encounter bears, courageous, and interesting people. Yet her conversations with Grandmother Wisdom is what gave her the confidence to entrust herself to be strong within these potent encounters.

Grandmother Wisdom guides Susan through many experiences. Eagle Eyes shows Susan shapeshifting abilities. While these encounters are set in remote places, Susan talks of having these experiences while in a Sweat Lodge tying it all together.
