Summary
Spirits in Bondage is C.S. Lewis's first book and the first of his works to be available in the public domain. It was released in 1919 under the pseudonym of Clive Hamilton and was written in a period of darker thought for C.S. Lewis than was later evidenced in his Christian apologist writings.

It's C.S. Lewis, which is cool in and of itself. However, the repetitive ABAB rhyme scheme didn't come across so pleasantly in audio book form. Perhaps it could be nice (via its visual appeal and, thus, ability to be followed) as an actual book in-hand. I appreciated getting insight into C.S. Lewis' literary beginnings, but this collection of poems didn't capture my attention enough for me to pay any of it much attention. I thus breezed right through it. At least it was free! :)
