Steel Dragon 5

An amazing, action packed book. I loved it from start to finish. Kristen has come a long way from when we were introduced to her in the first book - she was fresh out of the police academy and promptly put in SWAT, which is totally unheard of for a rookie. When she found out she was a dragon, she felt she was invincible and wouldn't let her team mates do anything that could potentially harm them. I found the early version of our main character to be extremely immature and whiny, and was almost put off listening to any more books, but I was told to persevere with them. And I'm glad I did as I non-stop listened to books 4 and 5 over the space of a few days.. As the books progressed, Kristen learnt to work as a team, then be a leader to the people she previously worked with. Even Brian, her older brother, has grown and matured over the books. As with books 3 and 4, this book is full of non-stop action and Kristen learning new things. Totally love this series and Emily Beresford is an amazing narrator.
