Summary
If you thought Dennis Miller was done ranting, guess again. In Still Ranting After All These Years, recorded in early 2002, Miller is in fine form, commenting on everything from ''War and Terrorism'' to Enron; from ''Obsessed Parents'' to the ''End of Class;'' to ''Truth in the Media,'' and so much more. Throughout, Miller is what we have come to expect from him: smart, cutting, laugh-out-loud funny, and more times than not ... right.

I don't want to start on a rant here, but while I enjoy Dennis Miller's opinions on politics and try to catch his show on TV when I can; I had a hard time with this book though as he wass entirely too vulgar. He has a huge vocabulary and is quite eloquent, so why the need for profanity. Also, I could have done without all the sexual references. How someone can tie sexual depravity to 9/11 I will never understand, but Dennis does it. If you like profanity, vulgarity, and a right leaning political take then this may be your kind of ranting book.

To the woman with too many kids, "It's a vagina - not a clown car." CLASSIC!

The material in this audio book was probably pretty good but unfortunately, Dennis Miller just kind of read the first 3/4 of the book. Towards the end, he started to get into it and deliver a performance, with comic timing and emphasis. It's too bad that he just read the first couple of rants, it would have been nice if the whole thing was "performed".
