Such a nice story of Robs life and path to success. He is honest with his downfalls and his desire to love and be loved. I enjoyed this book on a Drive recently and would highly recommend it.

I can't tell you how much I LOVE this book! Incredibly honest and insightful, what an adventurous experience he's lived! I also love self narration.
Surprisingly candid, entertain, witty, and down-to-earth; Rob Lowe successfully draws the listener in with his "boy next door" charm mixed with stories of his slow but successful rise to chilhood and teenage came, but doesn't forget the things that brought him full circle and have kept him one of the most likeable and still sexy men in Hollywood today. This was a fantastic listen. Reading it without hearing it narratedcby Rob would have really lacked the passion behind the stories. Such an enjoyable, but informative autobiography.
I love when the authors read their own books. This was a fascinating listen. I very much enjoyed hearing about the life of Rob Lowe.
Rob Lowe has the best voice for an audiobook. The way he tells his stories are clear, funny and like he was born to tell stories. It's interesting to hear about how he gree up and his experiences in with the industry. I believe every Actor in Hollywood can relate and every Actor can relate to his feelings being an Actor.
This is my second audio book choice and I'm pleased to report I wasn't disappointed! Engaging, thought provoking, humorous, emotional and insightful, I particularly loved 'The Outsiders' chapters which I studied as part of my English course during my school years, I was hooked and found it hard to press stop! Thank you for taking me away from my mind numbing commute into London each morning Mr.Lowe...I'm going to miss your company. Your determination to succeed, but also knowing when to just enjoy the moment and those around you, has given me new direction in my life and current cross-road career dilemma. I leave this experience, with a list of films I can't wait to watch and re-watch, feeling a better, more courageous person and someone ready to take on a challenge, no matter how daunting it may be! Overall a wonderful listen that will have you smiling, thinking and crying (last chapter in particular).
