Unabridged Audiobook
I love this story and can't believe I never read it as a child. The numerous narrators can be both interesting and frustrating, as well as the break at the end of each chapter. But that's the price you pay for a free audiobook I suppose.
My son loves this story. He has listened to it twice.
I think it was so good
I like the story but some of the narrators are hard to understand. Plus the beginning of the chapter gets annoying with repeating the same recording.
it’s so good, and u can listen to this when u are trying to asleep
I loved it and the og movie.
I think this is a very good book and is read perfectly
Interesting book that needs to be viewed from the perspective of the time frame it was written. Narrators were better than some.
The book is sweet, innocent, and interesting. I look forward to sharing it with my kiddos. The changing narrators aren't bad for a free audiobook but some are better than others.
Classic story, but the frequent change in narrators, and the fact that some of them were difficult to listen to, are reflected in the narration rating.
It was hard to stay engaged because the narrator read too slow with awkward pauses.
It isnt that great i much prefer boy narrator's
The various narrators and the changing between the voices and various accent with unusual pronunciations really spoiled this story. My 8 year old wanted to continue to listen to the story but didn’t like the narration so we accessed a different narration by Alan Bennett for Radio 4 and much preferred it.
I love the readers . I love the book
Because it’s often referred to, it’s good to have read it, but very racist and oldfashioned ideas. And anthropomorphic
Cute story, never knew the original just the movies. Narrators were horrible tho. While I appreciate the volunteers at Librivox can we at least get just ONE narrator for each book??
