The Story of Manhattan

A bit dry but hey, it’s a history book. A lot of info packed into a short amount of time commitment. Focuses mostly on the period before 1800. A lot of things I had no idea about including how Wall Street got its name.

Most interesting. Gained a better/deeper understanding of history of NYC.

We really enjoyed it. Grew up on the East coast n so the history of landmark names was very interesting

Don’t like it

Fascinating story, especially the early years. The more things change, the more they stay the same.
