I love this quirky, funny, off-beat book! The cast of characters were far from humdrum, the writing was fast-paced, and the narration made it easy to follow (even with accents that are sometimes tricky for me to navigate). In fact, I'm now on the hunt for more from CK McDonnell, have recommended this series to everyone I know, and I've signed up for The Stranger Times newsletter! I don't even have Facebook, Insta or TikTok and avoid online communities at all costs, and yet I am a Stranger Times groupie. Can't get enough!

The Stranger Times is such an amazing book, I read the synopsis and I thought ok it sound interesting but I was pleasantly surprised as to how good it actually was! It was funny and it had a good pace and the characters are all lovely I really cannot wait for the second book! And I wish I didn’t have to wait until next year to hear about my favorite characters but I definitely will, I would rapidly recommend this book to anyone who ask about a good enjoyable read.

Loved this. At first I wasn’t sure but it ended up being really fun. I enjoyed the humor and different personalities. I am excited to start the next one.

Narrator was very good. Interesting story though a little difficult to keep up with all the changes. A bit like a patchwork quilt.

I haven't laughed out loud this much since I read Terry Pratchett. Beyond brilliant in its wit, character development and plot unfolding. Really glad there are more books in this series.

First the narrator, Brendan McDonald, was simply amazing. How anyone can shift character voices so effectively is hard to believe. What a fantastic narrator!! The book was “stranger” but was an entertaining read. Glad I chose it.

Fun listen from beginning to end. The narrator is amazing. Couldn't wait to get my next credit so I could get the next book in the series. I dont usually listen to books with a supernatural aspect but wanted to try something new. I'm so glad I did.

Got this on a whim and I'm so glad I did. The characters, storylines and setting was amazing! I laughed out loud way too much. I refuse to to believe it was only one narrator, the voice acting is exceptional
