Nice book and fun to listen to.I wonder if there'll be more stories about that island.

An easy to listen to light hearted book. I enjoy this book and loved how it ended. Could have been covered in a short book.

I found this very boring and from the first encounter of the main female character, I was put off by her condescending attitude.

The book wasn’t my cup of tea, but found it interesting enough. However, the whole experience was ruined for me by the narrator’s speech impediment which annoyed me throughout this read. Sometimes it was difficult to focus on the storyline because of the poor pronunciation. Maybe my experience would’ve been better had the narrator had been different. I will never know…

Not much substance in this story, nor was it very exciting. Just a simple predictable love story.

This was such a delightful story about real life, love, and unexpected circumstances. One might want to jump right into the middle of it all to become a part of the community.

The narrator would be excellent, but I have a hard time to understand somebody with a strong rhotacism. Instead of the "r" sound, she uses "v", or "w", which often changes the word's meaning. I am not an native English speaker, maybe that is why it is difficult for me to guess, what she really means. Interestingly, after like 15 minutes, I get used to how she says words. But when I return to my listening in a couple of days, my struggle starts again. I would not buy another book with her narration.

Bright and uplifting book for the summer

It is fine it you are wanting a simple, basic love story. It needed more substance, a deeper plot, more attraction to make it a more interesting read.

A nice predictable romantic story. I enjoyed the descriptions of the life and scenery on the island in Norway. The narrator's rhotacism speech pronunciation was a bit distracting but I got used to it.
