An excellent read. Well narrated, could feel the emotion of human and dog interaction. At times quite tear jerking.

I enjoyed the book especially with the slight variation of the detective murder theme with a police/military dog Maggie.

This book was FANTASTIC! Everything about this story was great, the narrarator did a wonderful job, the people, the dogs, I just can't say enough about this book. you must read it, that's all.

What a fantastic book and what a good girl Maggie is. You really don't have to be a dog person to enjoy the relationship between the two main characters, but it probably helps.

I like this book and the way it was narrated. Early in the book I realized I had listened to this book before. i still listened to again.

Excellent story. Was a slightly nervous start but shone like moon as it rose. Heart-warming and thrilling to the end.

This is one of those books that you look forward to continuing listening to. I’ve heard this narrator in other books. He does an excellent job and I hope to listen to him again in the future.

Thoroughly enjoyed this book and couldn't put it down. I loved how the chapters switched between the dog and the handlers POV which really added to the understanding of the storyIt was well written and was complemented by also being well read, will be checking out other Robert Crais titles

This was a VIP pick, and I was actually really surprised at how much I enjoyed this book! The narrator did a great job with the action scenes, and I really enjoyed seeing things from Maggie's point of view.

Reading the description, I wasn't sure this book was for me, but the reviews were so good I took a chance. I'm so glad I did! I was interested from the first sentence and as a dog lover, it was nice hearing Maggie's point of view. Recommend

I really enjoyed this book!The way the author and the narrator were able to talk about the dog and what was going on in its mind was something I had never seen before. It was thrilling captivating and amazingly entertaining.

Learned a lot about dogs in service and how their PTSD can be similar to that in humans. Loved the various points of view of the same situation. Makes one more aware of dog and human interaction. Recommend!

I loved this book. As a German Shepherd Dog fancier, I appreciated how well the author understood this wonderful breed. It was a great comeback story for Maggie and for Scott. Made me miss by breeding and showing days.

Brilliant- Best Robert Crais novel yet

A slightly different slant to the usual police murder drama.
