The story was interesting as a romance story but I struggled with the narration. The positive is she didn’t do the corny southern accent. However, the “voice” of the main character sounded like a weak little girl, even after she built confidence as the story progressed. But the male characters - all sounded the same, sounded like old men even though some of them I believe were in their 30s. ESPECIALLY the male main character.

This book started off with so much promise, but then the main female character became so wishy washy that it was ridiculous all the way to the end. if a man was treated That Poorly by a real woman and her friends he would run screaming. This books main character was a simmering piece of work and this story line was very difficult to even finish. The characters seemed contrived ans very over reaching personalities that peoplein real life would have put out of their in a minute. it almost makes me Not want to even finish this series.
