[Bengali] - Tarpor

The novel ‘Tarpor’ illuminates the consciousness of the expatriate Bengali on the one hand, and on the other hand, the life of living in the belief of one’s homeland has been revealed in a really beautiful background. Akash, the protagonist of the novel, marries a Canadian woman. At one point he came to his country with his ten-year-old daughter Sumana. An intimate relationship with a talking bird of his motherland adds a different dimension of the story. The main theme of the novel is the horizon of love memories with Falguni.
