A nostalgic, fast-paced ride through the world of music and entertainment, Tempted is also the story of Campanelli’s lost years, wandering through the temporary highs and crushing lows of a gambler’s secret life.

Tempted recounts Campanelli’s journey from an idyllic childhood in Hamilton to his complicated life in front of the camera during the peak years of MuchMusic and Entertainment Tonight Canada.

Rich in nostalgia for the 1990s and early 2000s, Campanelli chronicles his career in spotlight and, for the first time, reveals the secret gambling addiction he battled behind the scenes that nearly destroyed his life.

Dragged down by the unrelenting pull of wagering money he didn’t have, Campanelli found himself drawn into a shadowy world of bookies and criminals, as he pursued bigger payouts that offered only fleeting satisfaction and larger debts. It was only when was he was arrested in Las Vegas that he knew he needed help.
