Tesla: Manhattan Dove to Queens Seagull

This audiobook is narrated by a digital voice.

He electrified the world. But Nikola Tesla’s secrets remained hidden... until now.

A vast number of today's electronics and appliances for use in homes and businesses are based on at least one of Nikola Tesla's patents. Tesla is credited with creating the electric car, wireless communication, and laying the foundation for smartphones and the Internet. History remembers him as a celibate, eccentric recluse who did not smoke or drink alcohol. This is how certain authorities want the world to remember Tesla.

However, a recent discovery in the basement storage of the official Tesla Museum in Belgrade, Serbia reveals a collection of artifacts hidden from the eyes of the world. The collection includes intimate letters disclosing a long time passionate love affair. There is also a fancy gold cigarette case given to Tesla for his birthday by the prolific industrialist George Westinghouse. And more ominously, there is a crystal whiskey decanter set with glasses gifted to Tesla by the original godfather of the Italian Mafia, Charles 'Lucky' Luciano. Perhaps the most interesting artifacts in this secret collection are drawings, notes, incomplete diagrams and schematics that tell the secret of a radio that can communicate with the past. Possibly right the wrongs of history. But what if this radio were to fall into the wrong hands? What of the future then? Is our present the present that was intended or has it already been altered?

These artifacts whisper of a Tesla the world never knew, a man entangled in a web of intrigue, murder, romance, and secret inventions never before brought to light. Written as a novel by a best-selling biographer and an accredited screenwriter and Tesla historian, this book combines elements of fact and fiction and uncovers the tragic personal life and many secrets of Nikola Tesla.
