Unabridged Audiobook
I liked the action, the story plusnthentwists and turns. Very entertaining.
I have bought all of Lee Child’s books in the past but this one all I say Don’t buy it. It could only have been done by a ghost writer not Lee Child. It has none of the Jack Reacher true character or excitement. None of the typical storyline. Shame on Lee Child selling this as a “Jack Reacher” novel because it is not.
Story was good with interesting twists. I would have liked to hear it read by a better narrator. There was no way to distinguish the voices of different characters and we had to depend on phrases like “ and Reacher said…” It was extremely difficult to follow this narrator from one voice to the next, especially if a female voice was supposed to be speaking. He tried to make everything too dramatic including what should have been simple commentary that was meant to serve as transition. Sometimes within the same chapter the story shifted to a different scene and different characters and the narrator rushed forward with same voice tones for new characters making it hard to realize the story had shifted to other characters in another place.
Another GREAT Reacher book!! Although he didn't damage people physically in this book, he damaged them with his cunning and presenceand silence. Definately a must read. I can't say enough about the narrator, Scott Brick, he has filled the, very large, shoes of Dick Hill in my opinion, (didn't think that was possible). Can't wait for the next story!!
Really enjoyed the book. A number of twists and turns.
Love all rhe Reacher novels!
a good read, not a great one, but Scott Brick the narrator is awesome.
This story goes back in time. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
