Unabridged Audiobook
VIP selection and surprisingly good! This narrator is perfect for pronunciation of Swedish names and places.
Too complicated a storyline for an audiobook, but engrossing. The narrator did an excellent job with the Swedish names and words, and differentiated the characters well. Some of the descriptions were a bit clichéd, some of them were glorious. But 18 1/2 hours! Yikes.
it's truth led by both Jews and gentiles. It unfolds a truth that many just do not,or will not accept . But truth is like a granite stone standing tall and it will not move For this granite rock, cannot be hidden. That cannot be moved. God alone ,can move truth
The narrator was great and this was a great VIP book option!
it was okay
Difficult to get into due to the similar but different Swedish names thrown in - which I liked but just complicated it for non Swedish speaking listeners. Eventually the story came through. The narrator great
Very complex storyline but if you stay with it, it's worth it in the end. War is hell and its aftermath lasts for generations. This story illustrates that.
I little hard to follow with all the similar names and different timelines. It may have helped to have a narrator that differentiated between voices
It was complicated but not in a twisting mystery way. Unnecessarily long so became a bit treacherous to listen.
Should’ve stopped right in the beginning as it was very boring. I got invested in Siri’s story and went on till the end. It IS boring. Characters are strange: you get to like them but their motivation keeps seeming highly unrealistic. And this unrealistic motivation reaches its pinnacle with that of the murderer. The narrator was excellent, though.
