I think this book tells a very deep and troubling story of what Hollywood can do to a beautiful young child. I commend her for allowing the best for her child. This was a pretty heavy book. I would definitely recommend it.

I wanted to read this biography before I knew that she had passed and it just made it that much more tragic the way she talks about domestic abuse and all the feelings of poor self worth. it was just really sad to see behind closed doors, what she went through in her life. She was truly the Marilyn Monroe of her time, this was a great book and she deserves to carry on the legacy if not for her daughter.

Heartbreaking, she tells you about her struggles and everyone in her life, the good and the bad.

I couldn't stop, absolutely loved every moment of this book! It breaks my heart, she never got the peace she so desperately wanted! No matter what she will always be one of my favorites! I love how honest she is and her ability to make everyone understand her feelings and the fact that shes only human, nobodys perfect but that's our saving grace!

This book tells a very deep and emotional story about the impact Hollywood can have on a young child. I really admire her for wanting to protect her child and do what she felt was best for her. It was definitely a heavy read at times, but also very touching and eye-opening. I would definitely recommend this book.

More than just a memoir. It's a cautionary with life lessons abound. This world couldn't save the cheerleader, but anyone who reads this book can find a way to save themselves.

It’s a great listen!!

I found it to be sad. She was a sweetheart and had a successful career, but at such a high cost: her mental health, motherhood, etc. She was a beautiful woman inside and out.
