Unabridged Audiobook
I found this book extremely helpful. After drinking for 20 years, there comes a point when it’s time to change one’s perspective.
I love the passion and conviction of the author/narrator while giving you Science based evidence on the effects of alcohol. This book is much better heard than read because of the narration.
Very Informative
This book is so eye opening and powerful! It’s a must read for anyone who wants to make healthier choices when it comes to alcohol.
I liker it. Hope it worked.
This book helped me immensely. I’ve wanted to give up Alcohol for a while. Annie gave me the courage and wherewithal to quit. 60 days and going strong.
Love her voice and the information is so profound!
I liked the book a lot. Alcohol can be insidious in our lives and the marketing machine behind it makes us all not see it for the poison that it is. This book is very helpful in learning how to turn down the noise about alcohol.
So I listened to this book on recommendation from the MFM podcast. They suggested you could use it to give up anything and I wanted to give up coffee so I gave it a go. This is not appropriate for giving up anything but alcohol. That being said, I have never consumed enough alcohol to relate to this author, and all of this information is obvious and well-known to the public. It did not convince me to dislike alcohol, and I regularly go months without consuming any. I agree with the book whole heartedly about alcohol being something that shouldn’t be socially acceptable, but it should have done a better job of appealing to people who aren’t in dire straits. I would welcome listening to a version of this book that didn’t not make frequent references to excessive alcohol consumption.
As someone who has been an active alcoholic for 20 years (half my life) and been through treatment and sent out to AA, this book dramatically changed my relationship with alcohol. This Naked Mind has changed my life and gave me hope to sustain an alcohol-free life.
it is helping
