Unabridged Audiobook
I normally love May McGoldrick’s novels and I was very excited to finally see this one available on audible. Unfortunately I was to be extremely disappointed. The digital narrator crucified the telling of this story, not only in the lack of tonality between characters and situations, but also because of its inability to convey emotion or to pace the telling of the story effectively through the use of pauses etc. instead sentences and paragraphs just ran into each other. This will be the first and last audiobook I listen to with a digital narrator and I can only hope that authors resist the temptation to try a robot reader.
