From #1 bestseller Morgan Rice comes the debut of a spectacular new fantasy series, THORNHAVEN, ideal for fans of Brandon Sanderson, Rebecca Yarros, and Sarah J. Maas.

Faye Wilderpath, age 20, leaves her grandmother and village behind to attend Thornhaven, a magical academy set in a dangerous jungle compound that trains students to combat the Netherkin, invaders intent on terraforming the continent with dark magic. As Faye struggles to adapt to the academy’s brutal training regimen and treacherous environment, she finds herself making enemies and friends alike—and torn between her affections for the prodigious hunter Callum, and the charming, magically-tattooed Ren.

Enter a romantasy world like nothing you’ve seen before, with an exhilarating realm filled with peril and promise. Destiny guides Faye to experiences of romance and magic while challenging her determination to endure in a saga characterized by unexpected twists and gripping excitement. It will captivate both young minds and experienced fantasy enthusiasts alike, as you fall in love and don't stop reading.

Really quick read. A little teeny boppish but very light reading if you're looking for background noise

Highly recommend this book for fantasy readers. The narrator does a great job of distinguishing between characters. It really draws you in. listen to the book in one sitting. Can't wait to listen to the rest.

Similar vibes to fourth wing with dragons and more magic. The book was not very well written, seems like every other description included the spores in the air if I had to hear about the spores one more time I was gonna pull my hair out. I really wish there was a little bit more development in the story. I’m wondering if I’m going to read the second book.

I liked it so much I couldn't wait for another credit to start the second book. During the opening I was sure if I was going to enjoy it. By the 2nd chapter I was hooked.

I really liked this one and am looking forward to reading the others in the series. It combines magic and wonder into a fascinating tale and the need to survive.

I had a hard time getting into the story, but the AI was very distracting. The story was OK. It seems to be something that may lead to bigger things. I like the little creatures that were attached to them. This was one of the worst digital narrations that I have heard. It very much took away from the story.

Loved it!!

I like the story but the narrator trying to use a different accent than their own when reading dialog was distracting. I usually don't mind that but they sound very unnatural and forced.
