Unabridged Audiobook
A very interesting book on the initial air war over Europe during WW II. A sad, and large loss of pilots and crew due to lack of planes that could fly protection for them, against the very experienced fighter pilots of Germany. It was most interesting hearing the stories of those that survived their downed craft, and the lives of those who didn't survive. I thought the decisions of General Travis and the consequences of those decisions were thought provoking, and it would seem some believed the risks he took with others lives, were not to be forgotten in the months and years ahead by those who strongly disagreed with him. I highly recommend the book for those interested in that time period of our country.
