Toby's Storm: A Story of Being Brave When You're Scared

One little squirrel. One very big storm.

Every Tuesday, Toby the squirrel sets off down the road to visit his grandparents. He loves those cozy afternoons of hot cocoa, board games, and a warm fire. Today, though, the sky is dark, the thunder is growing louder, and the rain is coming fast.

Toby walks faster. Then faster still.

By the time lightning cracks across the sky and rain pours down in blinding sheets, Toby is soaked, turned around, and completely lost. His paws are shaking. He has no idea which way to go. And the storm is not letting up.

Then he remembers what Grandpa always says: 'Fear is just your chance to be brave. Take a deep breath. Count to ten. Then start to solve the problem again.'

So that is exactly what Toby does.
