Transform grief into action and protect children from online predators

Tomorrow Needs You tells the story of South Carolina Representative Brandon Guffey, who lost his son Gavin to suicide after a sextortion attack in July 2022. Guffey transformed his pain into a mission to protect children, educate parents, and hold Big Tech accountable.

The book chronicles Gavin's life, the devastating sextortion attack, and the aftermath. Guffey shares his struggle with PTSD while detailing his journey to pass Gavin's Law, establish a nonprofit, sue Meta, and advocate before Congress against criminal networks exploiting tech loopholes.

Listeners will also find: a detailed account of how sextortion schemes operate and practical guidance for parents to protect their children from online predators; insights into the legislative process of passing protective laws and the role community support plays in driving meaningful change; reflections on grieving, PTSD recovery, and therapeutic approaches, including EMDR that help families heal after unimaginable loss; strategies for holding tech companies accountable and partnering with organizations that prioritize genuine child safety online; and a faith-based framework for transforming personal tragedy into purposeful action that benefits others facing similar challenges.

Perfect for parents, educators, mental health professionals, and policymakers, Tomorrow Needs You offers urgent warnings and hopeful solutions. Guffey's personal experience and legislative expertise make this an essential guide for protecting the next generation.
