Sleezy detective story meets wannabe romance novel. Yuck!

it was somewhat difficult to follow. I had to listen to it over and over however some parts were quite funny and it was a good choice in the end.

Really enjoyed reading. Interesting characters and good story. Kept my attention from beginning to end.

This was a waste of money for me. For the mystery crime genre as pulp fiction it would appeal to a different reader, possibly the late teens, 20-something demographic. The "surprise" ending was predictable, the characters superficial, and the southern US drawl annoying. Give me Elizabeth George any day!

  • claire bondy

Easy to listen to, with enough ploto twists to make it intriguing even though it was perhaps a little far fetched.

  • Ellen Pickle

Great from beginning to end...nice twists to keep you in your toes

I found the relationships implausible and behaviors annoying. It was just okay.

One of the best I've heard in a long time. The twist at the end is excellent!
