I love anything by Tracie Peterson and once more she does not disappoint.

A simple, sweet story.

I enjoyed the story, even through their hardships. The author writes a very engaging story that really pushes you to recognize that God is there through it all, but we also need to get beyond ourselves. Narrator did a superb job. Great pace and tone.

In some instances this story was right on and in some I was on the verge of offended. I tolerated the lead character because of her ignorance and naïveté and loved the poor old trapper with more patience then I the reader to gently wake her up. He was the one I wept for as there need to be more people like him.

This was an enjoyable book, easy listening. I liked the era in which the book takes place and the touch on that to start, it then became a predictable love story. As a wrap… easy quick listening.

Such an amazing book! Started out slow but got very good. The author portrayed the realness of Christianity very well and the narrator was very good at showing the different characters!
