Summary
Jack Reacher hunts the hunter in the third novel in Lee Child’s New York Times–bestselling series.

Reacher’s anonymity in Florida is shattered by an investigator who’s come looking for him. But hours after his arrival, the stranger is murdered. Retracing the PI’s trail back to New York, Reacher’s compelled to find out who was looking for him and why. He never expected the reasons to be so personal—and twisted.

I agree that the bad guy is not the best written character, but I still love Reacher and now I love Jodi...even though i am very jealous of her! A great listen....different narrator who was very good but I miss the original, i have come to know that as Reachers voice.

I thought this was easy to listen to, and engaging. But there were loose ends. 2 characters who were featured from the beginning were just forgotten by the ending wrap up. I did enjoy the narrator.

I love this narrator's voice. Jonathan McClain brings Jack Reacher to life. I'm ready to listen to the next one.

This story was one of my least favorite Reacher stories and I've read/listened to almost all of them. The villain seems cartoonish to me -- more like a Batman character than a Reacher adversary. Reacher also seemed to be absent more of the time than he usually is, with too much time spent on uninteresting supporting characters. Also, Dick Hill is by far the better narrator for the series -- his voice fits the character perfectly. McClain gives it his all, but his voice just isn't Reacher. If you're a big fan of the series it's worth a listen just to keep up with the ongoing backstory, but if you're new to the series, I'd suggest choosing another book.
