Tristan did not think he was ready to settle down, but when he stepped up to the plate, he did it in a big way. I love the compassion and care he took with Kendra. I also appreciated that the trauma she suffered was mostly kept of the page. This Shockwave team is shaping up to be amazing.

Get your feels ready because this book is going to get to all of them! Tristan is your typical free spirited athletic bachelor. He’s wild and unashamed but when his best friend calls he kicks his flavor of the night out ( really nicely lol) and flies across the country to be there. He offers his best friends sister a new start and that changes his life. This interconnected standalone has some hard moments that will break your heart (check the trigger warnings) and moments that will bring you to tears with the utter sweetness. I loved every minute of Tristan’s journey through this book and I am pretty amazed at Kendra’s incredible resilience. Heartwarming story. Narration was fantastic.
