Unabridged Audiobook
I've read quite a few Greg Isles' books over the years and have never been disappointed. I spent several sleepless nights with this one as well and was really anticipating re-"reading" while out on my run. I'm so sorry to say I couldn't finish it - the narration ruined it for me. I've listened to Dick Hill and had been impressed, but not this time. Female voices were annoying, the accents seemed...off, words were dropped at the end of sentences, and just odd emphasis in places that just didn't seem to make sense. Love Greg Isles, not so much Dick Hill.
Excellent! Never disappointing when I listen to a Greg Isle book. This Narrator is always good!
This is the second Iles book I’ve listened to — both were terrific plot lines which, when combined with a narration pro like Dick Hill, make for winners!
it was a very good book and it was very well read too
The Narrator, Dick Hill of True Evil by Greg Iles made this book difficult to listen to. He would end many passages using a soft voice or as a wisper. He also has a srange habit of pausing and then stressing certain words in a sentence which never made sence rather than just speaking what was written.
