Unabridged Audiobook
Loved his first book and really enjoyed this Christmas version, reminds us how lucky we are to have our NHS
I rate Adam Kay’s brutal honesty and thoroughly enjoyed ‘T’was the night shift before Christmas’ ...but I found it slightly formulaic in its delivery. This may be because I read [rather than listened to] his first book, or it may be the way he breaks it down into years but somehow it felt less fluid; the humour too considered and slightly pleased with itself. However, it was entertaining and educational at the same time and I have enormous respect for this insight into the institution that is the NHS.
Short but funny and certainly put a smile on my face.
