My husband read this book 6 months ago and was 320 pounds, it helped so much that we're going to get it on CD so he can listen to it again. He had tried all sorts of diets but could never stick with it, and like Dr. Phil says "Diets take willpower and willpower just fizzles out." This is about a lifestyle change. My husband has made a lifestyle change and has lost tons of weight, I'm not even sure how much it is any more. It helped him understand why he does what he does and how to control himself and his feelings. I dont even have the words to describe how wonderful this book is and how much I appreciate what it's done for our family. Any one stuggling with weight has to hear this book, maybe it won't have the same affect of everyone but it's the only thing that's worked for my husband.

Well this is exactly what you would expect from Dr. Phil. A get real about your weightloss book with no fancy tricks or sugar coating. I am not 100% convinced of the meal plan however everthing else was great. It made me open my eyes to a lot of things that sometimes you just dont see. Definatly good to listen too.

I'm a Dr Phil fan, but had to send this back unfinished . I listen to the CD's in my car on my way to work. He calls for a lot of writing things down and he emphasizes how important it is. I enjoyed it, but could not complete the paperwork.

Self help book...some good tips. It was quite long.

Dr Phil isn't the best reader but he's okay. I didn't do any of the exercises on paper but I did listen to the book twice. My daughter has the book and I plan to do them. I have partially implemented Dr. Phil's routine and have lost about 7 pounds in about two weeks. My family is gradually adopting the problem.

This book really helped me....... I have been unable to lose the weight I gained after I had to take antidepressants. The weightliss will go slowly, i dont need a wuick fiz, but this book really opened my eyes.....
