Unabridged Audiobook
Loved the narration of Sam Rosenthal, who brings the thrill and twist to your ears. We have three separate storylines, that run side by side and will keep you hooked. While a earthquakes hits and courses devastation on the West Coast of the United States. A nine year old disabled Sofia, is miraculously healed during morning Mass. Mark Lawson doesn't believe in miracles, but he finds himself taking care of Sofia. Mark finds that he is has to keep Sofia out of the public and safe from the authorities, and something he can’t quite understand. The fate of the world is a heavy burden.
I was entertained by this story. Although there were three separate storylines, I was captivated by the story and always on tenterhooks wondering about the fate of the world. I liked the characters: Mark Lawson, Maria, Sofia, and the dog. I enjoyed all the twists and turns as the story unfolded. I thought Sam Rosenthal's narration was fine, and his performance kept my attention. I was given a copy of the audiobook. I volunteered, without financial gain, to leave this review which included my honest opinions regarding this story.
