Story Ok but narrator was terrible. Her speaking rhythm was singsongy and flat. Her male lead voice completely unrealistic.
made me cry in one part really loved the story great narrator
The story line was trite and unrealistic. He only lovers her because she grew into a beauty and he lusted for her. With that said the writing of the book was well done.
Beautiful story of heart ache and being knocked back again and again. I felt for Rose. The narration is soft and well done. I believe this book could really give a glimpse how life was back in that era.
Its a beautiful love story
A book a bout finding love despite obstacles and a reluctant groom. Love how it all plays out, Rose is a wonderful character.
This was such a pleasure to listen to.
I really enjoyed this historical novel. I struggled a bit with the many miscommunications between the main characters. but enjoyed and applauded Rose's strength of character throughout all trials and found her to be so inspiring.
