I always love this story and it was nice to hear it on audio book.

A must-read still, 500 years after it was published. Grapples with issues, not the least of which is pride, that still divide societies today. A brief yet profound meditation on governance and human nature.

It is a lovely read of a classic. Though, I blame Drew Barrymore and Ever After for ever making me interested in this novella. Give it a listen and see how a perfect society was viewed back in the day.

Had this been required reading during my high school or college years, I surely would've resorted to Cliff Notes! Wish I'd done a bit more research before squandering a credit.
