Unabridged Audiobook
Vengeance and Vampires: The Complete Series Boxset is a dark urban fantasy series with witches, vampires and shifters. I was highly distracted while listening as the narrator was not enjoyable to listen to. I think in this case I would have preferred reading the books. Narrator Candace Joice would not be my choice to narrate this audio series. Candace's performance of the main character antagonist Rachel Collins did not do the character justice. Her performance did not feel professional. I felt like she was just reading not actually performing. The reason behind the four star naration is that her inflection changed and I could distinguish between the characters. When performaning the supporting characters she brought out emotions with voice together. Overall, the story is entertaining.
