Unabridged Audiobook
I chose this read from the free VIP second! I enjoyed the concept (I’m a sucker for dystopian/apocalyptic) and the characters! I was looking for book 2 but it’s not on ABdotCom. The narrator was great!
I gave up on it. Too many unnecessary details, the waffling got me yawning. The narrator is ok.
Slow in the beginning and too many unnecessary details. Good action when it finally got going.
This is a trilogy that could've done just fine as two books. Narration was good. Human mindset when they think the collaspe has happened can never be predicted.
Better than the usual apocalyptic story, with lots of interesting characters and twists. After reading this, I bought book 2 and it is just as good! Excellent narrator, just the right amount of 'breathless' voice to match the scenes.
I was hooked from start to finish!!! Can’t wait to start #2 NOW!!!
I don’t particularly enjoy virus stories, but this was gripping!
I thoroughly enjoyed this first episode! Brilliantly narrated
Love the storyline and how it intertwines the different characters. A not-so-difficult to imagine scenario of human behaviour and psychology- should an end of days scenario occur... The narrator makes a good character personification.
Fast moving story, good characters, good narrator. Can’t put it down. Will read S2 & S3. Where are series 4-7?
If you come across a bad rating, this book doesn't deserve it in my opinion. It's a raging virus.. a struggle to survive... violence and stuff. You read this, what are you expecting? It's not going to change your life. It's fun. It's perfectly dystopian/apocalyptic. Narrator did her best. She's all in. The story and characters are good. Good enough to listen and feel like you aren't wasting your time. Listen and enjoy!
1986-Copenhagen is an exciting romp through a mystery that kept me listening all day long. I’ve never wanted to listen to a 10 hour book in a 24 hour period before, but, boy that was fun. Bravo, Jesper Ersgârd.
