Unabridged Audiobook
This story really delivers to satisfy romantic-at-heart audio-readers; the characters are multi-dimensional, brave, funny and hurting with personal griefs that drive both the chemistry and dangerous twists of the plot. Also wildly riveting and scary adventures in the wilderness are attention grabbers. Both narrators work well to bring the hero and heroine’s perspectives to life. I loved this enough to wish there were a sequel to dive right into after finishing. This is a sweet has-to-become-a couple — and their wider friendship circle — to hang with and cheer on.
Cute story, great narrators, enjoyed the twist!
I’ll be honest I liked most of the book well enough. The characters were interesting and the premise of “lost in the wilderness and needing each other to survive” was pretty interesting and I enjoyed it. BUT the final stretch of the story really ruined this book for me it was convoluted, unrealistic, frustrating, and unnecessary. I think the final bit of the story could have been cut of completely and the story would have been a solid read but it ruins the plot in retrospect and ruins the characters for some odd reason. Couple that with the issues in the main part that I had been willing to ignore but simply can’t after the ending and this was an overall neutral and then negative experience.
