Unabridged Audiobook
This story described five to six generations of a southern white family and their experiences with life and racial issues from the Civil War to the present. I found it different, enlightening, and provided insights into slavery and that white families understood the value of slavery, but didn't always agree or support it. I enjoyed this book.
loved the narrator! good stuff, great story
This book has all the things I like in a book. There are a few stories running through it. It shows how complicated an issue we are dealing with, how far we have come and how far we have yet to go. I loved this compelling book and the narration was excellent as well
Marvelous story telling of racial bias that’s still happening today. Loved every minute.
