I’m normally good at figuring out plots and twists but this book had me guessing the whole time.

I hate psychological thrillers! Having said that I still hate them but this is well written and creatively plotted. The look back and look forward approach with the convergence at the finality was well done. I still was a bit dumbfounded at the end… probably another reason I’m not a psychological thriller aficionado. If you are you will enjoy this read

I had to listen to the last 20 minutes again to make sure I had understood the ending correctly because there was such a big twist!! Great book! The narrator had an English accent but, very easy to listen and understand!!

There were a few twists throughout the book, but the twist at the end completely caught me off guard. It took me a minute to wrap my head around it because it was so unexpected! I absolutely loved it!

Ending went on and on and on. It felt like the author couldn't decide on the best twist so she included all of them. Liked the narrator but often couldn't remember which character was speaking of who they were speaking to - not sure if it was a problem with the narrator or the way the book was written.

I think Dandy Smith may be my new favourite author. I read The Wrong Daughter last week and loved it and immediately bought The Wedding Vow! Wow! So many twists and turns!it had me gripped and guessing right to the end! Fabulous! Also, beautifully narrated!

Compelling enough at the start then loses momentum

Thrillers and mysteries have to have some coyness and hinting but this was heavyhanded and the ending, well, it could have ended a chapter earlier. Still, it was a good enough story that I stayed with it until the end. Good narration.

Good to the end but a the twist left me confused as it probably is a sign of great writing.

Although I did figure it out, it did keep me engaged the entire time I was listening to it. Well written and the narrator was excellent.

I have read every single book from Karin Slaughter. Some I like, some I love. Well, add this one to the LOVE column! I devoured this story, adored the characters, well, not the bad ones. The story was just so good. And Kathleen Early’s narration of this one, had me tearing up. I think she was just as invested in the story as she was reading it, you could literally hear what sounded like actual crying as she read this story, and that was just made the story more authentic. Just wow, maybe my favorite story so far, of all of her books.

Very suspenseful thriller, but too long with the back and forth wife side, then the other women. After the murder of the husband, Verity's perfect marriage went straight to hell1, after discovering her hubby was having an affair. Had the police handled it from the beginning, I believe Verity made a mess of the investigation doing things her way. She involved women that really had nothing to do with the issue at all. I feel she acted on hunches and not facts. There were a lot of accusations which caused her loss of friendship. When in conclusion, it was her sister with the jealousy she carried from their childhood. TOO BUSY FOR ME!

This is one of the most enjoyable thrillers I’ve listened to in a while.

I agree with other readers that it was very convoluted. I love this author’s other two books that I have listened to to the point that I searched out another one. It was an interesting story with a good twist at the end, but it didn’t grab me like the other books. The narrator was excellent. Although I could hear some swallowing intermittently, the narrator did an outstanding job.

Loved this book! Finished it in 2 days, it was that good. The narrator was perfect as well, with amazing expression that made it such an engaging and captivating listen!
