Welcome to Carnage: A Dark Romance Halloween Novella

He is the night's reckoning, the shadow that haunts my dreams. This year, he wants more than just my fear.

Halloween is a celebration of the bizarre, the unexpected, the dark. And I've always had a twisted enjoyment that dances with the macabre.

Things turn sinister when every guy I date ends up six feet under, courtesy of an obsessed stalker. Like a ravenous beast, the murderer hides in plain sight. His identity? None other than Nyx, my brother's best friend and my secret admirer. A familiar face is now my enigmatic predator. His presence is inescapable, his desire for me insatiable. A force that would cut down any who dared cross our path.

Like any monster, he's ready to kill for what he desires. His hunger for me is an intoxicating blend of fear and excitement, an adrenaline rush I've never known. The night of the Carnival is looming, and with it comes his promise. I will be his. I should run, escape... but the dark allure of being his prey is an addiction I'm not ready to shake off just yet.

Welcome to Carnage, where love is a twisted game, and survival is the only victory.
