Marilyn La Jeunesse’s debut novel, Werewolf of Wall Street, is a delightful paranormal rom-com about a werewolf who gets called home to save his pack. Perfect for fans of Rachel Harrison’s Such Sharp Teeth, Ali Hazelwood’s Bride, and Erin Sterling’s Ex Hex.

At eighteen, Rigoberto “Riggs” Lunera left the enchanted town of New Excelsior and never looked back. Now, at twenty-six, he is a bachelor in real-world Manhattan and killing it in the finance game. As long as he keeps his true identity hidden—that he was born a werewolf to a family whose lineage traces back centuries to pre-Columbian Mexico—he’s got it all under control.

Riggs is shocked when his high school sweetheart, fellow werewolf May Lopez, emails him after eight years of silence with an urgent message to “come home.” He never expected to see New Excelsior again—especially since May is now engaged to Roman, his twin brother and alpha of the pack. But Roman has been stricken with a mysterious and debilitating illness, and the pack must come together to find the culprit and the cure.

When Riggs rides into town, everyone is happy to see him—except for May. Unlike Riggs, May never wanted to leave New Excelsior. She never wanted to leave Riggs, either, even after she learned that his twin was her Fated Mate. But fate has other plans. Now, something big is happening. Something that causes the twins’ father to fall suddenly ill too. Something that threatens the entire pack and all of New Excelsior.

Can Riggs and May put aside their feelings to save the city they love? Or will broken hearts cause it to crumble?
