I acutally listened to it twice and it made me chuckle both times. I tried ot look past some of the narration and listen to the "story" itself.

I was driving from NC to FLA , and this little story made that 12-hour drive fly by!! The narrator’s voice was expressive and gave a feel of actually hearing each character as he/she contributed to the fun of the mystery and, eventually, love story. Very good narration and fun book!!

I love listening to period literature but this story is dreadful. I just wanted to smack everyone upside the head. Clueless is generous. But even taking into account the time that it was written, the story is so racist it is difficult to listen to. It’s fingernails on a blackboard. I don’t agree that the narrator read well. It was emotionless and forced. I would skip this one…

Loved this narrator!! Wish all your narrators had such dramatic skills. I’m sure she has lovely lines at the corners of her eyes.

Couldn't listen to the entire book. Narration is horrible.

Story line was light hearted with a bit of mystery thrown in. Narrated very well.

This story was fun and silly. While the narrator seemed to mispronounce several words, her diction and accent were perfect for this story.
