A thrilling enemies-to-lovers slow burn. The MMCs are complex and their relationship just as complicated. The narrator does a phenomenal job voicing every character, switching seamlessly from an Australian accent and a posh English accent. If the action and intrigue doesn’t grip you enough to make you stay (I don’t see how it couldn’t), the burgeoning heat between these two men with an equally hot pay-off certainly will. There is a touching intimacy and sensuality they have that keeps me wanting more and cheering them on for the happily-ever-after they both deserve. I can’t wait to read more of their adventures and watch their love grow along the way.

The book was good, narrator was great. it's got some graphic homosexual sex acts in it though. Nobody mentioned that beforehand.

I really enjoy this just 3 hours in but the voice is nice, clear, expresses well, and the characters are pretty fleshed out. I laughed at the sarcastic asides. Blade is a cool last name but it was funny whenever Jack made quips about it. I appreciated the dialogue and the characters showed their personalities and expressions pretty well. I love seeing how this goes. Solid background, imagery, could really see what was described. Feel like I'm going to really vibe with getting into the rest of the series
