Summary
From New York Times bestselling author Kristen Proby comes Where We Bloom, an Age Gap, Billionaire, Best Friend’s Brother romance set in Bitterroot Valley!

Connor

After an explosive night together, I thought I’d never see the gorgeous bookstore owner again. We didn’t exchange names and numbers, and when I left her asleep the following morning, I didn’t intend to pursue her. I don’t have time for relationships or entanglements.

I’m the CEO of Gallagher Hotels, and my life is spent traveling around the world, focusing on my business, not a small town in Montana. Even if my thoughts keep returning to the most incredible woman I’ve ever met.

It turns out, my mystery woman, Billie, is my sister’s best friend, and she’s suddenly everywhere I turn. She’s become my obsession and all I think about. She’s become the only thing that means more to me than running my empire. And I’m determined to have her.

Billie

Owning a bookstore in my hometown of Bitterroot Valley has been my lifelong dream since I was a little girl. The only thing that brings me more joy is my love of thrift stores and coffee.

And, maybe, the sexy Irishman with intense emerald-colored eyes that take my breath away. His charming accent, how he looks at me, and the way he spoils me with lavish gifts are just the icing on the cake. I’ve tried to stay away from him, but my resolve is slipping. Nothing is better than being in Connor’s arms and feeling like I’m the most important woman in his world. But being with a high-profile billionaire comes with a price. Can we withstand the storm headed our way, or are we destined to fall apart like delicate blooms in the wind?

One of my favourite of the series.

The narrators are great and I'm not going to apologize for LOVING all the sex! I'm a curvy girl and how Connor can't keep his hands off his girl is so delicious! Several of Kristen Proby's other books in the Bitterroot Valley area series are seriously lacking in spice, but this one is an absolute must if that's what you're into!

Loved this entire series. Great in order or on their own . Nice and spicy with a good story

I finally found my favorite romance book. thank you so much to the wonderful author for basically ticking off all of my boxes. the only thing that would've made it better would be longer steamy scenes but I know I'm in the minority here since other reviews criticized the amount of them. I loved everything about Connor, his love devotion and over protective ness. and Billie is everything I wish I could be. their love story is so swoon worthy and I know I will be coming back to re listen to it over and over. I also loved the low drama and overall low angst. this book is just perfect. and the Belle library! swoon.

I thought it was a good book, it was worth listening to.

Enjoyed this one very much.

This book should have a trigger warning around sexual assault and the main character getting drugged. That part of the story was scary. I would recommend skipping past that part if that’s something that will affect you. It was the part where she was alone at the bar and a man comes up to her. The rest of the story was good though with lots of juicy spicy scenes and a good wholesome / fun story.

Didn’t make it past the first few pages…sick of the “F” word and tired of women who sleep with strangers. Misjudged this book, thought it might actually have some substance.

This story was fantastic — I couldn’t get enough, and I already know I’ll be listening again. It’s spicy, emotional, and full of those swoon‑worthy moments that stick with you. I loved the connection between the main characters and the way their family dynamics added even more heart to the story. My only wish is that the epilogue had focused more on Conner and Billie instead of shifting into another storyline, but honestly, the rest of the book was so good that I can overlook it. I especially appreciate stories that center confident, plus‑size women who love themselves while still showing vulnerability, and this one delivered beautifully. I also loved the Narrator Voices of this.

This is not a bad book if you are into this kind of writing. I am not. It is a porno book. Shock filled with curses and sex. I hate that I lost a VP credit on this.

Warning: Spoilers. This started promisingly, but soon became annoying. If the mysterious stranger is her best friend's brother, how come they never met before, and then are suddenly hanging around all the time? The improbable money and business arrangements are weird. There's not really any jeopardy until the very end and then it's over faster than it begins. Who builds an extension in a week start to finish? Ive not read the others in this series so maybe they hang together more coherently. But this didn't inspire me to seek them out.

This book is one I listened to for about 10 minutes, and that was about 9 minutes too long. It’s vulgar, the language just as bad. It’s not one I would even keep on my phone, except I don’t know how to delete it.

Just sex from front to back …hmmmm could be better or characterised as soft pawn !!!

Great series and will continue to listen to it. As for this book, it was a great storyline and kept me engaged but it felt very repetitive with the spicy scenes and Connor was overly possessive which came off cringy. I would love to see the male characters softened slightly, only with the possessiveness portrayed in the stories. Every girl wants to be claimed by the man they love but reiterating over and over again in aggressive tones puts a bitter taste on it and seems unhealthy. The male narrator was great but the female narrator was just ok. She reminded me of a news anchor in the way they raise their voice at the end of each statement. Her voice switching between the characters was less seamless and just missed the mark for me.
