I just started this book and it is awful. It is like a Harlequin Romance on steroids (only because they use the F-word). Worst $9 (on sale) I have spent. I normally keep listening hoping books get better but so far I'm not sure I will finish Whitewater. The narrator sounds like he is reading rather than "acting" out the characters. The conversations between the characters are so unreal. I'm just very disappointed. I chose this book (as I choose a lot of the ones I listen to) because of the 5-star rating for both the narrator and the book. I won't purchase anything by author or narrator again.
