Well worth the time! Even for women, it gives great insight and as a mom of 3 boys, it was a bit of an eye-opener too. I read the book 19 years ago when my eldest was only 2 and now that my babies are 12 I had a listen - it is amazing how much better I understand some sections and references now that I have lived a little, have more life experience and raised an adult man through all stages of boyhood. Enlightening and insightful. Men, listen to Wild at Heart and also Captivating to understand us women better. If you are in a relationship, listen to both as a couple, you'll learn so much!

Absolutely horrendous book. The words in this book don’t seek to please God, but they seek to please an audience so that the author may have monetary profit.

This book makes seemingly bold statements in an attempt to appear to be much more profound than it truly is. It takes biblical verses that are well known and tries reshape them in way, but fails to create a new interpretation. It really amounts to telling us what we already know about God’s characteristics or certain books of the Bible, even though the author claims to be sharing revelations. Additionally, the author puts forth a myopic view of manhood and masculinity, which in itself is not a bad thing, but the use of God’s word to support this view is pretty misguided. Lastly, painting a traditional depiction of Jesus as “weak” simply does not hold up. Anyone who is versed in the New Testament understands that Jesus did not hold his tongue when rebuking the Pharisees nor his own disciples. The attempts to teach men to embody masculinity by unveiling the masculine version of Christianity falls flat.

Fabulous experience to learn fundamental life lessons from the author's own voice - highly recommended for every man searching for life to the fullest, but also for everyone caring to understand men and how we're shaped by God, society and ourselves. I was inspired, set free and launched into a new level of life through this audiobook.

Men if you are feeling like this docile world is killing you inside, if you feel like there has to be more to this life than going along to get along... this book is ..is.. is for you! Don't ask permission to read this book, give yourself permission.
