This is a reasonably good romantic suspense. The primary couple come from different stations of life and both are stubborn. They argue and the female storms out getting herself in a bad situation and then getting blackmailed. There are several suspects for the blackmail and violent acts that take place. The 'hero' has a bad temper and takes stupid action that gets him in trouble. The suspense builds till right near the end when one suspect takes outlandish action. Accordingly, I felt the story was a bit outlandish. Still, it was reasonably entertaining. There were jumps to POV of numerous characters, instead of sticking with the primary characters, which I found unusual and a little distracting. I think there are some issues left open to the next book in this series. I might decide to get more in the series. Audio Notes: Graham Winton does a good job with narrating. He provides believable, distinct voices and delivers the story with reasonable energy. I am glad I had this on audio.
