Unabridged Audiobook
Great book telling the short adventures the author has had. The larger stories are written in other books published. The solo LibriVox narrator had an even pace, clear tone, and did a great job.
Narrator isn't the best but the storys in the book are crazy and funny, especially the story about the prospectors bears. First quarter of the book is a little boring. But it's definitely worth while listening too since the book was free
It was hard to stay interested. It felt like I was sitting in my grandparents basement listening to tall tales of the west. Then I realized it was written in 1909 so that then made sense. Having a woman narrator made it feel like the stories were coming from a woman I didn’t realize the author was a man until I looked up who this person was given the date of when this was written I suppose it’s not bad and a great book if you’re a lover of trees, and understand different types of trees.
One of the most entertaining, informative, and enjoyable books I have ever listened to!
