Book was an interesting listen until it slanted to a very Christian sell in the book

Held my interest and made the miles go by, my standard for listening on a long drive.

Entertaining story. Well written and well read.

Probably really a 4.5 but really a gem of a free book. Had religious overtones at times but I could overlook that. Interesting, well written and well narrated. Good pacing with mysteries/ reveals, and interesting fleshed out characters. A lot of historical details that seemed well researched but with original characters: and historical fiction is not usually my genre.

Great read!!! Love the story and the mystery behind the characters.

Would love to have more stories like this.

I enjoyed this book although I did get a little confused who was who at one point, but that could have been because I was tired at the time, but once I got everybody straight again I was back on track with the story

Very clean and entertaining. You know everything will turn out ok in the end but you don’t know how the story is going to go. The narrator did a great job as well.

The story was a bit twisty at first but settle into a good flow. I thought the ending wasn't of on a tangent but the narration helped it be an enjoyable book

I enjoy interweaving plot/timelines in a story to make you pay attention. This book delivered!! Great story. If you are also someone who can guess how it will all package at the end, you will not be right. There are many plot twists you don’t see coming. Narrator did a wonderful job. The book had a good pace and sound.
