Unabridged Audiobook
great story, moved quickly, loved narration
Loooove the idea, the story line, the wittiness and the narrator. :)
I hated the main character (Mona). The start of the book looked promising, but I quickly found out that it wasn't a good story.
Very cute. Nice short read. A good in between book. The moral of the story is loud and clear and I hope more people listen.
I love all of T. Kingfisher's stories, and this one is no exception. Excellent escapist literature, without being silly or superficial. Narrator also very good, decent pacing, no mispronunciations (thank god) and differentiates characters well.
A surprising great treat. At first I didn’t know what I was reading, but it was strongly recommended. I pushed through and the book got increasingly better. Wonderful banter, cozy feel, and wonderful descriptions of what it would be like to be a wizard baker going to battle. A must read for a fun, engaging book but also not serious. It’s written through the lens of a 14 year old girl, but still a must read.
Great story and characters, the narrator brought the story to life
A fun story with charming characters. Great imagination.
Really great book. Cute and fantastical but with heavier underlying themes that will speak to older readers, too. . The narrator also did a great job bringing all the characters to life. She has a very nice vocal range and tone.
Love it.
