Good story
OK... good book!!!!
I’m a complete fan of the Hidden Legends series and the authors. The stories are, as always, amazing, but unfortunately, I feel like the narrators somewhat ruin the experience to the point where I didn’t enjoy listening to it. The male narrator doesn’t seem to fit the narrative; his voice doesn’t align with the tone of the story, and it feels like he doesn’t fully understand the storyline. His voice is too soft to represent a wolf, and it’s definitely not the right choice for this role. The female narrator’s voice was very unpleasant. You’ve found great narrators for other series, and I would have enjoyed this one much more if different narrators were chosen. Unfortunately, I won’t be buying the rest of the books.
The story was good and got better as it progressed. The female narrator sounded like a sarcastic teenager at times. If she would lose that sarcastic, self centered tone of the character that she goes into at times, she would be really good. She is able to go between voices well. The male reader was fine. The competition was very interesting.
